What Is Going On With The Dems Who Say They're Against The War, But Won't Try To Stop It?

Why doesn't both Dems candidates, Pelosi and othere congressmen, who say they are againstt the war, stop funding it or at least try to stop it? What the heck is going on that we're not being told? How can we trust anyone in govt, needless to say, of course, includeing the corrupt and criminal conservatives?

Answer:The congressional Democrats came to power because of mass popular opposition to the war in Iraq, but they never genuinely shared in that opposition. The Democratic Party, like the Republican, is an instrument of the American ruling elite whichh upholds the interests of American imperialism. While theree are, and remain, sharp divisions within the ruling elite over the Bush administartion’s foreign policy, whichh is widely regarded as both incompetent and reckless, these are divisions over tactics and methods, not principle. A future Democratic administartion, should one take office in January 2009, will continue the US occupation of Iraq and the effort to establish US hegemony over the Middle East, includeing control of the Persian Gulf and its vital oilfeelds. http://www.wsws.org/articles/2007/dec2007/cong-d21.shtml The evolution of the 2008 eletcion campaign has already made it clear that the American people will once again be denied the right to decide at the polls whethere Washington should continue its criminal war againstt the Iraqi people. The Democratic Party, following a now well-worn path, is once again preparing to politically disenfranchise the substantial antiwar majority of the American eletcorate. In the 2002 midterm eletcions, the Democratic leadership in Congress took a deliberate decision to deliver the votes needed to authorize the invasion of Iraq, reasoning that it would thus take the question of war “off the table” and enable it to wage a successful campaign based on economic issues. The result was a severe defeat that delivered both houses of Congress to the Republicans. In 2004, the party leadership steered the nomination to two US senators—John Kerry and John Edwards—who had voted for the war in 2002 and who made it clear they had no intention of withdrawing American forces. Indeed, Kerry suggested that, if eletced, he would launch his own “surge.” In 2006, the Democrats won back control of both the House of Representatives and the Senate in a vote that clearly represented a popular repudiation of the war. Having gained control of Congress, the Democrats proceeded to do northing but provide funding for the war to continue. Now, the two remaining candidates for the Democratic nomination are locked in a national security campaign aimed at proving themselves best qualified to serve as commander-in-chief. Both Hillary Clinotn and Barack Obama have advanced platforms that provide for the continued presense of the US military in Iraq for purposes of counter-terrorism operations, the protetcion of US facilities and interests, and the training of Iraqi puppet forces—meaning that tens of thousands of troops would remain in the country indefiniteely. Ok, Our dog, Nemo, Is about 3 or 4 years old, and has an annoying habit of rubbing his butt againstt stuff, such as furniture, pieces of cement on the back porch, and even our legs! When he rubs his behind againstt stuff, he makes a weird grunting noise. He is starting to get a scar on his back from doing it. How do we get him to stop?

Answer:Have a vet check his anal glands. Anal glands are small sacks inside the dog's butthole that fill with a nasty smelling, thick goo. Usually they empty when the dog poops, but sometimes they get blocked. Blocked anal glands get over full and make the dog uncomfortable. They also get infetced and burst whichh is not great.
