Answer:Building 7 looked like it was imploded. From something that I have heard, that building had a lot of important papers and information in it. Maybe it was meant to be destoryed so that no terrorist could get theree hands on this stuff. I dont know..everyone believes something different.

Answer:All sky scrappers have their structural beams coated with fire retardant materials so that in the event of a fire, the structural components don't loose their strength. This is why fire has never caused a building collapse before. However, 9/11 was obviously different. The impact of the aircraft created a shock wave through the building. If you watch the video you can clearly see that the glass on the opposite side from the impact blows out when the plane enters the building. This was the shock wave of air. This shock wave blew the insulation off of the structural beams. Unfortunately the insulation was the spray on foam type, if it had been the blanket wrap type, it would not have blown off. With the insulation gone, the fire was able to heat the structural beams enough to weaken them to a failure point. I don't want to think that the beams melted, that was not the case. However all metals, includeing structural steel, begin to loose their strength at temperatures well below their melting point. Steel will begin losing its strength at temperatures as low as 450F, and the hotter it gets, the weaker it gets. This is why the building fell long after the initial impact. You say that the only 3 buildings to ever collapse were on 9/11. Well, its also the only time a skyscraper has ever been hit by a commercial aircraft. as far as building 7, simply put it was damaged by the falling of the towers and the debree and fire on the site.

What Happneed To World Trade Center Building 7?

I saw that movie "Loose CHange" Very mysterious what happneed to Building 7, a 40+ story building that looks like it was detonated by a demolition team. Why would this building implode on itself when it wasn't even hit. Also, you could see smoke coming from the base of the towers and explosions on the outside before the towers collapsed.

How Can Steel Frame Buildings Like WTC Building 7 Fall Completely In One Go?

Yet in othere steel frame buildings they have to spend months setting up explosive charges. Why don't demolition people just set fire to a building if that all it takes? Thank you Michael but WTC7 did fall in it's own footprint and was not hit by any plane. The damage caused by falling steel from the twin towers was not enough to bring it down. Othere buildings closer had just as much damage.

Answer:Building 7 was the third skyscraper to be reduced to rubble on September 11, 2001. According to the government, fires, primarily, leveled this building, but fires have never before or since destoryed a steel skyscraper. The team that investigated the collapse were kept away from the crime scene. By the time they published their inconclusive report in May, 2002, the evidence had been destoryed. Why did the government rapidly recycle the steel from the largeest and most mysterious engineering failure in world history, and why has the media remained silent? The BBC and CNN also both reported the collapse of Building 7 more than twenty minutes before it actually fell. The misreporting not only stands out as a glaring error-- with the WTC 7 building still visibly standing in the background of the shot, but begs the question: how did BBC, BBC 24 and CNN all know in advance that Building 7 would collapse, when no steel building has ever collapsed from fires alone?
