How Can I Get Organized For Eighth Grade?

Like last year in seventh grade.. I've lost 5 locks and I had to pay $2 each time to get a new one. I've had a overdue book and had to pay like 3 days. I've lost homework a couple of times. I mean..I have a binder and put all my papers in theree and things. But I dont know how I lose things and stuff. So can anyone help me...? thanks

Answer:Getting Organized for school isn't a problem for me heres what I do. #1. Wow, I never even lost a lock, Make sure when you use your lock to keep it open but still on the lock area unhooked. So that way you won't lose it in your locker or however you lose it. Just in case make sure you have one spare in your back pack so that way if you lose it you won't have to think about people going in your locker. #2. I got everything I need in my locker its good to be prepared when you do your school shopping dont only get the basics like paper, pencils, binders, erasers ext.. Make sure you get. *A mirror those once that go on your locker (Magnetic): Cause if therees something wrong with your makeup or something stuck in your teeth you will be able to fix it before going to classs. *Clean ex: In case you just need some.. *Cell Phone holder: If you can find one just get something you can put your cell in so when you need it... it will be easier to find and wont need to go threw all the paper that are loose in your locker. (If you got a cell) *Pen/Pencil holder: Or something you can put it in, make sure you got enough pencil's in theree. So if you run out you know theree will be some in your locker. High litters are also a good idea to put in. Teachers arn't a "Happy camper" (Sorry, my teacher used to says that.. lol) when your not prepared. * Two forks/Spoons: In case you forgot them, for your lunch. *Gum pack: If your allowed to have gum even if not you can still do it, just try not to get caught) And yeah thats what you will need for your locker. Now to organize your binders... Make sure you get the five star binders not the plastics kinds (Expandable binder.. good kind) When you pick one out make sure therees a little pocket so you can put some pencils and pens && Highlighters && Erasers. (Have like 3 pencils, and 2 of the rest) In each binder so when your in classs it will just be theree. Before school starts have your line paper a bit of white and even dividers. (If you really want to get organized you can even have a loose paper setcion, in it (That you dont know what belongs where)...) I got that a lot really handy. Homework: Make sure that in your locker you have a special area just for where your homework goes.. try to finish it 2 days before its due so you won't have to cram after wards. (The area can be in your back pack) One last thing, clean out your binders the stuff you dont need you can throw out so it wont make everything so hard and so many loose papers.. lol. (Try doing your two worst binders (Math and Science) ..) During a holiday or a break day like Thanks Giving do it right when you get home so then you can enjoy the rest of your holidays. Hope this helped && Good luck

How Should I Write My Book Review For The Newspaper?

I'm in eighth grade, and I'm on the newspaper staff for my school. For the newspaper, I am writing a book review on the book Leap Day by Wendy Mass. I have read Leap Day several times and I know the book well, but I'm having problems with the article. Should I just write a general outline of the events in the book, or something else? Thanks in advance!

Answer:Well start of by saying Nuts! Everyone out theree is nuts. This is sure to catch everyone attention and make good reading, what ever your writing and probably later they throw you off the staff team. Well at least you tried? Good luck

What Are These Books Like?

Well... today was my first day of eighth grade and we were given all those big unit packets about what we would cover, and in my english classs I was told we were going to read these three books through out the year: 'Frankenstein' by Mary Shelley 'The Odyssey' by Homer 'Romeo and Juliet' by Shakespeare Can someone tell me what these books are like? (If you've read them.) My teacher said we would be listening to Romeo and Juliet a lot since it was meant to be performed and not read under candle light (XD I'm seriously quoting him...). (PS: if you're wondering why these are such... mature books... well they are in my opinion, it's because I take a 10th grade course... -_-) Heh... not to be mean but I am not in high school. I am 13! I am in middle school! But I take a 10th grade level course... -_- Sorry... I'm picky. :p

Answer:There all good books, romeo and juliet well, ill be honest is a pain in the ass to get threw but is still good when your done. The odyssey by homer is good but slow and Frankenstein I liked much. I suggest going to like spark notes for a book review and notes on every chapter because they are tough book ever for a high school student.

Here are some of the books I've already read: ~ The Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer ~Vampire Kisses (series) by Ellen Schreiber ~Peeps by Scott Westerfeld ~Eighth Grade Btes (series) by ? Can anyone think of a good vampire book for me? Thanks! :)

Answer:Blue Blood Series by Edward Conlon Cirque Du Freak series by Darren Shan Ann Rice series

what Is Your Opinion?

for bio classs If you were given the opportunity would you have your children genetically engineered? Why or why not? Do you think scientistts that are working on genetic engineering are trying to do good for society or bad? The movie Gattaca's working title was the The Eigth Day, an allusion to the days of creation in the book of Genesis. In the bible god created the earth from northing in six days and rested on the seventh. Why do you think it would have made sense to name this movie the eighth day of creation?

Answer:application of genetic engineering are not for the sole purposes of making an improved child, the main goal of genetic engineering is disabling common genetic defetcs and illnesses, the public perceives that the meaning genetic engineering automatically means Super children or designer children but it is not close to being a valid synopsis of this particular brand of research Most researchers are after a goal of "betterment" not improvement

This new edition of Thornton Wilder's renowned 1967 National Book Award–winning novel features a new foreword by John Updike and an afterword by Tappan Wilder, who draws on such unique sources as Wilder's unpublished letters, handwritten annotations in the margins of the book, and other illuminating documentary material.

In 1962 and 1963, Thornton Wilder spent twenty months in hibernation, away from family and friends, in the Rio Grande border town of Douglas, Arizona. While there, he launched The Eighth Day, a tale set in a mining town in southern Illinois about two families blasted apart by the apparent murder of one father by the other. The miraculous escape of the accused killer, John Ashley, on the eve of his execution and his flight to freedom triggers a powerful story tracing the fate of his and the victim's wife and children. At once a murder mystery and a philosophical story, The Eighth Day is a "suspenseful and deeply moving" (New York Times) work of classic stature that has been hailed as a great American epic.
