what Happens To My Current Loan With Ford Credit?

What if the Ford bailout doesn't go through and they go out of business? What happens to my current finance plan with Ford Credit?

Answer:Either, the Ford Credit will still be allowed to remain in business and you can make your payments as normal OR your loan will be sold to some other creditor and you have to pay them each month. If the second options happen, I don't know if you are able to keep the same finance plan or not.

Why Do I Have To Pay A Duplicate Title Fee, When FORD CREDIT Lost My Title?

I paid off my car, and was sent a lein release letter instead of a title. I called them and they said they dont have my title, i have to go through the state. On my receipt - it clearly states that i paid for title and plates. So, i feel like they stole from me. my dealership said that the company had moved over the years and they did lose some titles and they even shredded some when they started microimaging. But I dont understand how that is my problem, i didnt lose my receipt- i think i could have held on to the title just fine, why didnt they? And i am not talking about a little next door company- this is FORD CREDIT! any help on this issue would be appreciated!! I do not appreciate the hassle and i want a refund!

Answer:This sounds like a statement and not a question.

Will Ford Motor Credit Let Me Ship My Car Overseas?

To make the story short I have my car loan thru Ford Motor Credit. I am going to Korea with a follow on to Germany. Will they let me ship my car over to germany?

Answer:If they're getting their checks every month, what do THEY care? You MAY want to find out if the countries over there are willing to let you ship it THERE.

Anyone With Knowledge Of Ford Credit And Repossession?

Please answer only if you have firsthand knowledge. I owe $1600 on an older car, which needs about 900 in repairs. Will Ford want to repossess if I can't make payments anymore, or will they be willing to make arrangements because of the low value of the car? I have already had payment extensions. If they repossess it, will they take the tune up and brakes cost out ot the value of the car? Thank you.

Answer:I already answered this question once and obviously didn't give you the answer you wanted. YES, they will take your car. YES, they may be willing to work with you on payments if you try. It doesn't matter what the car is worth it matters how much you owe. Right now they are out $1600. If they get the car and sell it for $500 they will only be out $1100. You still owe that even after they get the car. They will take the car and sell it to the highest bidder at auction. They will sue you for the difference in auction price and the amount you owe plus repossession fees and legal fees. I know this from experience. I thought they would just take the car and be done with it. I got sued. Lost and had my check garnished at work. Nobody warned me. I have warned you twice. At least call and see what they are willing to do.

Is Ford Credit A Bad Company To Finance With?

I recently heard that Ford is an example of bad financing, I wonder how true that is. If there is anyone out there who knows for sure, please give me the answer.

Answer:"recently heard that Ford is an example of bad financing" That was in reference to Ford giving the money away. 0% financing is extremely expensive for them, and giving it away to tier 5 credit for 72 mos is absolutely asinine. Mitsubishi had a bad time with giving money away freely to tier 5 and below customers....namely to the tune of "Frog's hair from Chapter 11 bankrupcy protection." Ford is headed down the same path.
