Every culture has heroes and heroines, people that embody certain ideals. These heroes or heroines seem to surpass the common person and to stand apart as models of excellence. Discuss someone (real or fictional) who represents, for you, the heroic ideal. What is it about them that makes them a hero? What attributes do they possess that you admire? What can we learn from them? How do they influence society through their actions? Do you think it is possible for everyone to aspire to be someone’s hero or heroine? Answer:My hero is Freddie Mercury. I know, he took drugs (cocaine), I know about his sexual "habits" that brought him AIDS, but he is my hero, because..because he was what he was. He was the most amazing and greatest singer ever and was a cautionary tale for everyone. He is the person I admire most. He is The Legend.
