It's safe to say if your reading this then you know what will happen on the July 15 to internet radio if congress passes the royalties bill. Their are several large campaigns to save internet radio which I will omit here in fear of violating Yahoo Answers policies, are this campaigns working? Does anyone have the official numbers about the number of emails or phone call people are making? Has any progress been made? Have any congressmen official joined the save internet radio campaigns? If so, who and what states? Are cheap and free internet radio stations going to be able to stay in the game? Of course I know they won't if the bill passes, my question about staying in the game means will this bill be defeated? Any word? Will Satellite Radio Or Internet Radio Through A Cell Phone Work In A Concrete Building?

I recently got a job at the dept of revenue, and have run through my ipod, and am tired of the radio. I have sirius in my car and love it and was wondering if the stiletto would work inside my work. If not could i get an iphone or something, and would that be able to receive the internet it needs?

Answer:I'm not sure about internet radio through a cell phone - it depends on whether your cell phone browser works in the area. However, unless you have window access, I pretty much doubt the satellite radio will work. Our XM receiver sits on a window sill and sometimes cuts out when a big truck drives by and limits the direct line to the sky. Good luck!

I Want An Internet Radio Receiver That Isn't Depend Ant On A Computer For Internet Radio Listening.Any Advice?

I would like to buy a stand alone Internet Radio receiver. I know they make them. They receive Internet Radio but they do not require the use of a PC. I feel this would be the best thing as I have looked at Satalite Radio systems and they don't have certain stations I want, and they also have subscription fees. Internet Radio would not have fees for listening to various stations. You could get any station that is available on the Internet. Any advice on where to look for one of these? Which one should I get?
