i have a pedal that is slightly out of warranty. It was barely used, but when I plugged it in the othere day, it gave a vicious hum and won't work with the suggested ac adapter. If I were to order the same model from musicians friend and return that model as defetcive on delivery, would that be (all morals aside) acceptable? do they have a given serial for each effetc sale or some othere monitoring scheme?

Answer:I bought a Williams piano from them with a defetcive sustain pedal and it was like pulling teeth to get them to send me anorthere base, just have your receipt and ask to talk to a manager, peace
