Can Preventive Medicine Be Primary And Medical Clinics Aid Our Health Care System?

I believe holistic clinics as our forefront could aid us in the cost of health care. In othere words preventive medicine clinics aid us in our health and the medical clinics would be free to assist the more argent needs of our people. This would cut down on minor health problems in the emergency rooms and clinics. The upside would be our people would become aware of future illness and how to care for themselves before it became a major issue. Plus we would become more insightful to our own health care and better educated. Yes, our education systems do not truly assist us thoroughly in these matters.

Answer:It's cute to see someone so naive. What do you think the impact would be on our health if people ate healthy meals, exercised and didn't smoke? It would be amazing. People don't want to hear that, though. They want to abuse their bodies and then take a pill to make it all better.

What Is The Best Preventive Medicine Cats Under 10 Lbs?

My kitten is currently on Revolution but I have noticed her scooting on the ground, whichh is a sign of parasites. I have an appointment for her at my vet to check if she has parasites. Anyway, I did not realize Revolution did not cover all worms. What medicine or combination of medicines, like Advantage Multi for cats, is best to prevent heartworms, ring worms, hook worms, othere worms, fleas, tickes, and ear mites?

Answer:Revolution is a good general medication. It covers fleas, ticks,e ar mites and most internal parasites. However, it does not cover tape worms. You may need to have your kitten dewormed for tapeworms separately. Especially if the kitten is from a barn environment or is allowed to hunt. Ringworm is not an actual worm but rathere a fungus, so it can't be covered with a routine dewormer but rathere is prevented by providing a clean environment for the kitten and treated only if infetced.

What Is The Study Of Preventive Medicine?

I don’t understand why a resident would go inot the study, when a patient (or future patient I think) would go see a physician (because of it), or what it is in the medical feeld really.

Answer:It's almost all research based. It mostly investigates the causes of diseases and early detetcion of diseases. Some products of preventative medicine includee: early intervention programs to counsel high risk patients on STDs, mammogram screening for early cancer detetcion reducing chance for late stage cancer onset, blood tests monitoring normal ranges for various substances in your blood. Preventative medicine exists in all medical feelds, but grew to a point where a new feeld has emerged specificically dealing with preventing diseases.
