Who Took The 9th Grade TAKS Test Last Wednesday?

Yah TAKS is the Texas state released test. So yah so first we read this story about some girls in viatnam and its sad cuz they dont have a house and then this guy comes and builds them a boat house. ON A BAY THAT HAS WAVES THAT TURN EVEN BIG BOATS OVER! THE STORY EVEN SAID THIS!!!! Then we have to write about how he is a hero? So when those girls house flips over is he going to be a hero? Wtf? But wait im just getting started - it gets a lot better. So next we read the story - o yah, "the bedspread" and im thinkin this story is gonna be kinda gay. And guess what it's about. THESE OLD AS HELL EUROPEAN PEOPLE THAT ARE OBSESSED WITH BUTTER CUT UP A BLANKET TO MAKE SOCKS TO TRADE FOR BUTTER. Than at the end they find out the person they traded with sowed the socks into a blanket and they buy the blanket back. WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS??????? IT MAKES NO SINCE LOL What did you think?

if i retake the test this summer online as a junior,is it the same as the previous test that was issued in april?. tea/released test.

Answer:The tests are created annually, as are the practice materials. There are standards practice tests and ancillary books that practice the state standards. If you need to find study or practice materials your teachers will often have access to these. Another place to look is McGraw-hill. I know for a fact that they have been creating Benchmark and Stardard Practice tests for the different state tests. Also, you can check on line at your state website. It may take some digging but you can generally find all the information you are looking for on the state standards tests. http://www.tea.state.tx.us/student.assessment/taks/booklets/index.html
