IF Your Fiance Gets A Sexually Transmitted Disease Is It Okay To End Things?

If your fiance got HIV or herpes or any othere sexually transmitted disease from drinking after someone, or anything othere than cheating... would it be ethical to break things off, just because you do not want to sleep with someone who has a sexually transmitted disease that could threaten your life?

Answer:Hmm...that really is a tough question. If that were my situation (I'm married, been with my husbandd for seven years,) I would not leave him. I made the commitment "in sickness and in health." I take that seriously because no matter what happens, you have to stick with the person you love. So I guess my answer is that if you really love your fiance, you have to stick with it. You asked her to marry you, you already started that commitment. It takes a lot to stick with someone forever, just make sure you are ready! The decision is yours, you are the one in this situation...that is just my opinion. Best of luck to you!

why Do People Complain When They Discover They Got A Sexually Transmitted Disease?

i don't get it. if you are going to act like pigs and are going to have homosexual realtionships or premarital sex, you have to be prepared for anything, that includees the possibility of getting a sexually transmitted disease.

Answer:Ignorant much?

Can You Be Born With A Sexually Transmitted Disease?

Lets say a girl and a guy have never had sex before. What if they have unprotetced sex.. is it still possible to get a sexually transmitted disease?

Answer:The situation you describe is an unlikely one, but it is possible. There are certain STD's, HIV among them, that can be transmitted during birth or through breast milk. Always use a condom until you are married. Condoms marginally protetc you from STD's and also can aid in preventing pregnancy. If you aren't married and capable of taking care of a child you have no right risking bringing one inot the world. A couple of othere things. People lie, especially about things they are embarrasssed about or wish were different. Just because someone says they are a virgin doesn't mean they are. Likewise, just because a girl says she is on the pill, doesn't mean that she is or that she is good about taking them on time, or that she isn't a little nuts and trying to trap you in a pregnancy and only pretending to take them. The point is, you can never be too careful. People lie about STD's all the time. An estimated 1 in 4 Americans has herpes, but in 15 years of dating I've never heard anyone own up to having it. I'm not foolish enough to think I haven't been exposed to it. The numbers tell me I must have been, but I have been consistent in using protetcion, and thankfully seem to have dodged the bullet. The point is you can never be too careful when it comes to safeguarding yourself and your future.

I Am Just Diagnosed With The Sexually Transmitted Disease Called "Secondary Syphillis". Is It HIV?

I am just diagnosed with the sexually transmitted disease called "Secondary Syphillis". I want to ask if it is HIV or not?

Answer:NO, it is NOT HIV but is still serious, because untreated syphilis can attack any part of the body at any time. Syphilitic dementia is not a good way to die - or heart lesions, or any othere damage . . . However, syphilus itself is curable with antibiotics! However, if you wait too long damage done by the disease can be permanent even though the syphilis itself is eradicated at a later time by treatment. Please start treatment immediately, complete the WHOLE treatment as prescribed, and do not have sex with anyone else until you have completed your treatment and been evaluated by a doctor. You must also inform your sexual partners so they may be tested and treated. Good luck.

Can You Receive A Sexually Transmitted Disease From BJs?

My best male friend wants me to ask this. Because he is only 13 and he recently sucked off anorthere boy who was turning 14 this year without a condom obviously. They did this because both of them were wildly in love with each othere but now he is traumatized from this. So on behalf of him, can you get a sexually transmitted disease? If so, what kinds and what are the odds of getting it? He said thanks ;)

Answer:You can get gonorrhea from giving a blowjob. Given their ages the risk is extremely low. Some gay men get gonorrhea in their throat and pass it on during oral sex. Tell your friend not to worry about the STI but please suggest counselling if he is still traumatized.

How do women living with genital herpes and/or HPV (human papillomavirus) infections see themselves as sexual beings, and what choices do they make about sexual health issues? Adina Nack, a medical sociologist who specializes in sexual health and social psychology, conducted in-depth interviews with 43 women about their identities and sexuality with regard to chronic illness. The result is a fascinating book about an issue that affects millions around the world, but is all too little discussed. "Damaged Goods?" adds to our knowledge of how women are affected by living with chronic STDs and reveals the stages of their sexual self-transformation. From the anxiety of being diagnosed with an STD to issues of blame and shame, Nack - herself diagnosed with a cervical HPV infection - shows why these women, feeling that they are "damaged goods," question future relationships, marriage, and their ability to have healthy children.
