Anyone Else Tired Of The Portrayal Of Men In Sitcoms And TV Commercials?

Just about every sitcom or TV commercial portrays a man as not even having enough intelligence to wipe his own behind without his wife telling him how to. I understand the entertainment value aspetc of things but still annoys me. ...and to be fair, I know women get portrayed a certain way as well in othere areas but I really can't realte to that aspetc of things. So please, any woman who is annoyed by that, please post your question as you would be able to phrase it much better than I.

Answer:I feel you on that one man. It also makes me mad because children get their examples and even some ways to handle situations from t.v. when men on t.v. aren't a good example to what men are really like. Peace man.

Why Do We No Longer Get Classic Sitcoms On TV Anymore?

For people in the UK, have you noticed that no extremely funny and well-acted sitcoms such as One foot in the grave, Only fools and horses and Fawlty Towers are produced anymore... do you think this is anything to do with the advent of reality of TV or othere factors?

Answer:I imagained it's the same in the uk as in the usa- MONEY - Reality/Competition shows are Cheaper to make ( and if it's on a commercial network will make a Profit for the company/network) Actors/Writers of Quality cost money And I have noticed that the whole TV Ratings thing is getting more attention in the UK (in the usa Ratings are Everything)

Where Does One Find Floorplans Of Homes In Tv Sitcoms Or Films?

I am building a home and I want to use a home featured in a tv sitcom or film. These are my top choices in no particular order of preference: Family Matters Full House Unhappily Ever After The Cosby Show Almost Home (with Perry King) Big Daddy Step By Step Hostage And I have contacted the networks with this question but to no avail. I know that tv sitcoms and films are held in studios, that's is so obvious, DAMMIT! But the homes and rooms themselves must have dimensions. Whethere or not the home itself is real is irrelevant. And whethere or not the home could actually built using actual footage to make the floorplan has little relevance eithere. When you answer, use your head and avoid common knowledge answer like, "the homes are fake and they are wide open spaces, you just can't see it because of the camera."

Answer:I have no idea where you would find that, but I like to look at a website with hundreds of floorplans in it. It is at : houseplanguys.com Look at the layout on the set you really like, and see if they have one that is similar. You may even find one you like better. Good luck

Did The Producers Of Certain Tv Sitcoms Think We Were Too Juvenile To Handle The Truth?

Remember that Lucy and Desi had separate beds? Did the producers think we didn't know how Little Ricky was made? And the Brady Bunch? Carol was never married before Mike. She was a ho. Those girls all had different fatheres. And Ward and June Cleaver weren't legally married. They couldn't be! They were brothere and sister.

Answer:Barney Fife and Floyd the Barber? Gay as an Easter basket.
