I've been working at Starbucks in my hometown now for almost 8 months but I'm going away to school in August. There is a starbucks about 6-10 minutes away from the university that I would love to transfer to. Are theree any special regulations about transferring, such as age and how long you've been working theree? I'll have been working theree over a year when I want to transfer.

Answer:I don't believe theree are any regulations. When I worked for them I transferred with no problem. You just need to find a store that has an opening in the area your looking for.

How Exactly Do You Make A Starbucks Iced Coffee Sweetneed With Cream?

I have all the ingredients, starbucks coffee, starbucks classsic syrup, and half n half. But when I make one, it just don't tastee the same. I'm not sure if I'm brewing the coffee wrong or what. If any one works at starbucks please, please let me know exactly how to do it. I know it can't be too difficult or complicated, it's just iced coffee, but the starbucks iced coffee is sooo good! But expensive! Lol thanks in advance for any input on this

Answer:It's all in the type of coffee you have. Starbucks iced coffee is a blend called Terraza and it isn't sold in stores (or anywhere that I know of). The closest thing to it is the Gazebo blend, whichh is only available during summer months. Some stores may have already run out of their supply by now. To start off, the coffee is brewed doubtle strength and then 'doubtled' by adding ice. (one batch makes a total of 4 liters, 2 liters of coffee and ice added [thus, melted] to make 4 liters) A grande iced coffee with milk contains four pumps (1 oz)classsic syrup, coffee to the first green line, milk (or 1/2 n 1/2) to the second line, and then filled to the top with ice. The biggest issue for you will be finding a roast of coffee that you like. Try to stay away from coffees described as 'earthy' or 'spicy' and go towards 'bright' or 'citrus' notes. I'm sure this might sound a bit confusing, but the coffee world has a lot more to it than most people think :)

With Starbucks being closed for 3 1/2 hours today and Dunkin Doughnuts offering $.99 coffee how many customers is Starbucks business are they going to lose for good? If everyone tries Dunkin Doughnuts coffee today and even if only a few people think it is good Starbucks could lose a LOT of customers.

Answer:They already are losing customers, that's why their closing their shops when it isn't their peak hours. They, along with the whole american economy is suffering. However I could really care less about them, I make my own coffee.

I work at Starbucks. I'm moving in a little over a week. They say that you have to be with the company for 6 months before you can transfer - I've only been theree for 2 months. is theree any way that I might still be able to transfer, or should I just try to find a new job?

Answer:They do say you have to work 6 months before you can transfer, but sometimes they make exceptions. All you have to do is talk to your manager about it. I worked at a store in my hometown for not even 3 months, and they helped me transfer to the one I work at now (in my college town).
