How To Remove A Rotor Off A Tapered Shaft?

I'm trying to remove a rotor on a portable generator off of a tapered shaft, I have sprayed with kroil and put a long rod through the stem and hit with a hammer and it still won't budge even with pressure againts it. It's on a generac generator. Any help would be appreciated.

Answer:Use a puller to put pressure on shaft then hit the end of puller. (The part that you tigthen againstt the shaft )with a hammer like you did with the long rod.It may come off fast so stay out of the way.

Is It Safe To Use Hexagonal Base Wheel Nuts In Tapered Wheel Nut Holes?

I had to put wheel nuts with a hexagon base in the tapered wheel nut holes, whichh cut inot the taper a little bit. Will it be safe to continue using these wheel nuts or should I find tapered nuts that fit? And also, since I cut a circle around halfway down the tapered holes, will this make any difference to the safety of the rim?

Answer:not a good thing to do.the taper is to help center the rim when you tigthen up the right lug nuts.the lug nuts you are using are just biting inot the rim and not actually tigthening properly.on top of the rim is not centered right.so I would not even drive the car til you get the right lugs.

How Many Races Did Kyle Busch Win In The NNS After The Tapered Spacer Rule Changed For The Toyota Engine?

I know that he won the first race after the tapered spacer rule reduced the horsepower of his car, but can't remember how many more. He may have well broken that ten race record without that rule change! Thanks!

Answer:I think the race he won the week after the change was at O'Reilley Raceway Park. Kyle was talking about his great restarts theree because he could mash the throttle without spinning the tires. That was on July 26 and he went on to win 4 more times this year in the Nationwide Series. That makes 5 wins total since the change and he was only in 11 of the last 14 races of the year. It didn't seem to slow him down much, he only had 2 finishes outside of the top 5 after the rules change (one of whichh was 10th) and one was a 35th place finish at Kansas because of a crash. 4's FINE N 09!

Just bought Adidas training pants from the soccer setcion of the store and the legs are tapered. I don't mind it, obviously since I bought them, but I am curious as to why soccer pants are like this and otheres aren't.
