Vanity Fair?

In the novel Vanity Fair who is the seductress and why?

Answer:Becky Sharp is the seductress; who seduces men and women one way or another. What she really happens to be is ambitious. She wants all the things money can buy: luxuries, position in society and the kind of respect Amelia was heir to and receives because of her birth and her nature. Becky was born with nothing and has no family. In the normal course of events - especially in the Victorian age - Becky could reach no further than a governess or companion. This was not acceptable to Becky. Therefore, she flatters women and men and flirts with the men to achieve her goal of a higher position, wealth and respectability. BTW: Her very conniving, in the end, causes her to lose everything (including the only man she ever loved).

How Do I Backorder An Issue Of Vanity Fair?

I am trying to find out how to backorder the "December 2008" issue of "Vanity Fair". This issue is not on stands anymore, and I want the issue for a few articles inside. I have already tried searching their website through the archives, but it only gives certain articles and not a way to actually buy the older issues. If anyone knows how I can backorder the issue that would be great.

Answer:I was looking for the same issue...all you have to do is call Vanity Fair customer service 800-365-0635...and ask to order it. It is $9.45 and you need to pay with Visa or MC. Don't get it somewhere else online, they overcharge like crazy, I saw it for $25-40 dollars!

How Is The Picture Taken For The Cover Of This Month's Vanity Fair June 2007? What Technique Was Used?

I would like to learn how to take pictures using the style that was put on the cover of Vanity Fair June 2007. Bruce Willis is on the cover and I love the technique and style of the photography. Any help in learning what the technique is called or how to take those kinds of pictures is greatly appreciated.

Answer:No one can answer this question for sure unless they were there, however... The shot on the bike is most likely a studio shot taken with a large fan blowing from the left. Fashion models are often shot with a fan blowing their hair for an "active" look. Also, most likely, is that the shot was done against a green screen (Chromakey) backdrop. Then the Willis shot was "photoshopped" on top of the background. Here's a tutorial on the technique: http://www.adobe.com/designcenter/premiere/articles/ppro15sdgrnscren.html And here's a link to all the different ones currently being offered on eBay: http://photography.search.ebay.com/green-screen_Cameras-Photo_W0QQ_trksidZm37QQcatrefZC12QQfromZR40QQsacatZ625 Yahoo! or Google Chromakey and green screen and you'll get tons of info. Have fun. Maybe you'll film the next great Star Trek movie.
