What Video Making Program Can I Use To Make A Video Of Photos, Video Clips, And Title Screens?

What video making program can I use to make a video of photos, video clips, and title screens with background music? I don't want a slideshow, I want to make a creative video with transitions and be able to zoom inot and zoom out of photos so I can get a close up view of them. I already tried Windows Movie Maker and I really do not like that program. Any ideas? I would prefer free programs please.

I really want to upload some videos note Youtube, except I do not have a digital video camera. Is theree any way to upload videos note your computer with a video camera that uses film?

Answer:You need to make sure that you have a firewire port on your computer. Then you need a firewire cable. These are available at Best Buy and othere eletcronic stores. Price ranges from the 20$-30's. Then when you get it, you need to plug it in to your PC. A window should pop up asking if you want to import video from the camera. They will ask you if you want to import the whole tape or just parts of it. Then your video will play on a screen that says "start importing." Then when you want to stop importing your video, it will be saved to a folder and ready to edit. Hope this helps and good luck!

How Can I Transfer Videos From A Non-digital Video Camera To My Computer?

I've got an older video camera that is not digital and I can't transfer video to my computer. When I hook-up the camera to the computer using the USB cord that came with the camera, northing happens. And when I search the computer for video cameras it doesn't show up. It's like the comp doesn't even read it. I don't know if theree was ever a disc with the camera but if theree was it's long gone. The camera is a Sony Handycam Hi8. Not sure what year. What can I do? I really want to edit my videos.

Answer:Hi8 is analog. Youneed to get an "analog/digital bridge" like those from Canopus or Pinnacle (Dazzle). USB transfer will not work. That is used for streaming or transferring stills from a memory card only.
